For the qualified
diver, there are many differing styles to attract you back into the water.
They can range from colourful reefs to large pelagic species and from
cave systems to sunken wrecks. Whatever you choose to discover, we are
happy to advise on available attractions at all destinations and suitability
for your experience.
We
offer ..
·
Off the Shore
Shore
diving can be as easy as walking in off the beach or jumping off the rocks
but does not necessarily mean easy shallow diving.
·
Reefs & Walls
Most destinations offer reef diving though some can be a distance from
your divebase. Walls on the outer edge of the reef can drop down to considerable
depth and
suit divers with requisite experience. Reefs & walls give you an abundance
of marine life and colour.
·
Sharks & Rays
These most fascinating of marine creatures can be found in all oceans
but are not always encountered by divers. Sightings are dependant on seasons
and luck!
·
Whales & Dolphins
A tremendous sight both above and below the surface. Diving with them
is however difficult due to their wariness of divers. This is one for
the snorkellers!
·
Caverns & Caves
Caverns are defined as indentations where you do not lose sight of the
entrance or natural light. Cave diving requires specialist training and
equipment and is outside the scope of our holidays. Caverns can have a
covered environment, so please carefully check dive profiles before commencing
your dive if you are in any doubt.
·
Wrecks
Wrecks invoke a sense of history and cover a multitude of experiences
from ancient ships, through war planes and tanks to the ever increasing
number of artificial reefs. Penetrating these wrecks can be potentially
dangerous and specialist training is advised.
·
Photography
Photographic opportunities exist everywhere but the very best of shots
tend to be from one part of the underwater world. For specific species
however, particularly some large pelagics, other destinations would be
favourite.
·
Liveaboard
The best way to concentrate your diving. Usually, 4/5 dives per day are
on offer. Quality diving coupled with excellent accommodation facilities
combine to give you a liveaboard
experience that will last in the memory for ever.
Advanced Training
Our partner diving centres mostly offer a full range of courses, from
beginner to more advanced training. Most offer speciality courses and
many run bespoke courses either relative to their own region or offering
a particular skill of their own staff. Details can be found at the individual
destination pages. We can also offer TDI and ANDI courses, PADI Nitrox
courses and in Thailand, courses using the Draeger Dolphin Rebreather
system.
Professional Training
Some of our centres are dedicated to furthering the careers of divers
and are recognised PADI Instructor Development Centres.
We can provide details
of Divemaster and Assistant Instructor Internships that are available
and can advise on planned IDC's and Instructor Examinations. We recommend
an internship as the method of training in order to gain the best experience
from your professional level courses. If you are unable to give up the
appropriate amount of time, we can provide the materials for the academic
portion so that you can be well prepared in advance for an intense two
week course.
